Heath Audley Evans, 39, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in a Waldron, Arkansas hospital.
Heath was born February 19, 1971 in Fayetteville, NC. to Jimmy Dell Evans and Regenia (Stovall) Evans. He was a member of the Harmony Freewill Baptist Church, and a logger. He loved his dogs, hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed life.
He is survived by his son, Easton Barker Evans of Boles, Arkansas; mother, Regenia Evans of Waldron, Arkansas, father, Jimmy Evans of Waldron, Arkansas; one sister, Jennifer Root and husband Richie of Waldron, Arkansas; one brother, Audrey Evans of Benton, Arkansas; two nieces, Eryn and McKenna Root of Waldron, Arkansas; one nephew, Trevor Root of Waldron, Arkansas; two aunts, Linda Lovett and husband, Bill of Waldron, Arkansas, Mary Brewer of Waldron, Arkansas; two uncles, Tom Evans of Waldron, Arkansas, Gerald Stovall of Greenwood, Arkansas; and cousins.
Heath was preceded in death by his grandparents, Audrey Evans, Beulah Evans, Verla Stovall; one uncle, Lonnie Brewer.
Heath?s funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, at the Harmony Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. David Williams, officiating. Interment in follow in the Cedar Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron.
His pallbearers will be Jim Evans, Audrey Evans, Bill Lovett, Dusty Lovett, Stanley Brewer, Tyler Brewer. Honorary pallbearers will be Richie Root, Brad Evans, L. D. Powell, Raymond Dees, and Eddie Swisher.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, September 17, 2010 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Heath?s family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday.
