Gregory Joe Pollard

Greg Pollard of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, November 19, 2018 in Waldron, Arkansas. Greg was born June 26, 1969 in Danville, Arkansas to Bobby Joe (BJ) Pollard and ImoJean (Sims) Pollard. Greg was 49 years old. He attended the Waldron Pentecostal Church of God.

Greg grew up in and around the Waldron area. He attended school at Waldron and received his Associates Degree. Greg worked for a long time on a chicken catch crew. He then went to work for Wal-Mart and was a CAP superviser. Greg was a big cut up. He enjoyed making his family and friends laugh. He always had a good story to tell. Greg was an all around good person and he left a lasting impression on everyone that knew him. He never met a stranger and welcomed everyone he knew, even those he didn't, with open arms and love. Everyone was family. Greg especially treasured time spent with his kids and grandkids.

Greg leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Amanda Parish Pollard of Waldron, Arkansas, and his children: Kelli Eaves and husband T.J., Ryland Pollard and wife Abbi, Marley Pollard, Jagger Pollard, Deeanndra Clark, Isaac Aguilar and Jared Aguilar. Pawpaw will forever remain in the hearts of his grandchildren: Bryce, Brianna and Mikey. Greg is also survived by his mother Imo Jean Rogers and step dad Bernis Rogers and his siblings: Crystal Nelson and husband John, Samantha Martinez and Brad Pollard and Jessica. Greg will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted over the years including a host of extended family, friends, co workers and neighbors.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, BJ Pollard and one daughter, Lacey Pollard.

Greg's life celebration will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Waldron Pentecostal Church of God with Rev. Konnor McKay officiating. Interment will follow in the Hunt Cemetery in Blueball, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.

Greg's pallbearers will be Ryland Pollard, Jimmy Oswald, Isaac Aguilar, John Nelson, Galen Dahler and Brad Pollard. Honorary pallbearers will be Kelli Eaves, T.J. Eaves, Marley Pollard, Jagger Pollard, ​Deeanndra Clark, Jared Aguilar, Bryce Eaves, Brianna Eaves, Mikey Pollard, Alex Hernandez, Owen Martinez, Jordan Martinez, and Wal-Mart #55 family.

Greg's visitation will be Friday, November 23, 2018 from 3:00 p,m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas.
