Glen Beshears

Glen Bert Beshears of Bates, Arkansas passed from this life Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in Mena Arkansas. Glen was born October 17, 1935 to Hubert Beshears and Rella (Himes) Beshears in Waldron, Arkansas. Glen was 76 years, 9 months and 15 days old. Glen was strong in his Pentecostal faith. He loved movies and watching television. He enjoyed playing his guitar, walking in the outdoors and playing with his cats. He also enjoyed tinkering with lawn mowers. Glen leaves behind to cherish his memory, four sisters: Amanda Collins of Rock Island, Washington, May Fern McDaniel of Hon, Arkansas, Thelma Jo Beshears of Bates, Arkansas and Retha Page of Bates, Arkansas, and one brother, Obie Beashears of Hon, Arkansas. Glen is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones. Glen is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Beshears and Rella (Himes) Beshears and one brother, A.C. ?Pete? Beshears. Glen?s life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Bates Pentecostal Church of God in Bates, Arkansas with Rev. James Self, officiating. Interment will follow in the Pilot Prairie Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Glen?s pallbearers will be Robert Page, Lenny McDaniel, Lonnie McDaniel, Lloyd McDaniel, Wes Beshears, Aaron Dale Sanders and David Long. Glen?s visitation will be Friday, August 3, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas where Glen?s family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
