Georgia Mae Essman, 79, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Sunday, July 4, 2010 in a Waldron nursing home. Georgia was born March 21, 1931 in Hon, Arkansas to the late William Henry Watts and Ivory (Maxwell) Watts. She as a retired cook for the Waldron School system. Georgia is survived her son, Freddie Essman and wife Susan of Waldron, Arkansas, four sisters, Josephine Hamilton of Huntington, Arkansas, Lolattie Richmond of Huntington, Arkansas, Betty Thompson of Roland, Oklahoma, Rether Greer of Rockford, Illinois; one brother, Johnny Doyle Watts of Rockford, Illinois; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, William Essman, Jr., Roy Lee Essman; and one sister, Mary Maloy. Georgia?s funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Lanman, officiating. Interment will follow in the Sehorn Cemetery in Winfield, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas. Her pallbearers will be Jerry Bob Metcalf, Jeremy Metcalf, Bill Brown, Jim Coffee, Billy Paul Brown, and Mike Buton. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy White and Roy Short. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
