Frances Walston

Frances (Frannie) Kay Walston of Booneville, Arkansas, formerly of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Monday, March 12, 2012 in Union Hill, Arkansas. Frannie was born September 27, 1952 in Aiken, South Carolina to Ed Williams and Margaret (Blair) Williams. Frannie was 59 years, 5 months and 14 days old. She attended Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Union Hill, Arkansas. Frannie was loved by all who met her. She was a very warm and loving person. Next to spending time with her grandchildren and extended family, her favorite time was when she was outside. She loved to be on the 4-wheeler out in the mountains. Enjoying nature?s beauty, soaking in every breath of fresh air. Whether she was fishing somewhere, planting new flowers to blossom when Spring would arrive or trying to milk the cows, she was happy as any one person could be. Frannie leaves behind to cherish her memory, one daughter, Michelle Bess and fiancee Bruce Ray of Booneville, Arkansas, four grandchildren, Shawn Williams, Shaiyenna Newman, Veronica Newman and Maria Newman all of Booneville, Arkansas. Nanny will forever be missed by two great grandchildren, Marissa Dickens and Gage Lee Hunter. Frannie is also survived by her parents, Ed and Margaret Williams of Waldron, Arkansas, one sister, Linda Smith of New Mexico, two brothers, Johnny Williams and wife Loretta of Waldron, Arkansas, and Bob Williams and wife Teresa of Greenwood, Arkansas, one cousin, Ronald Blair of Waldron, Arkansas and her best friend LaQuayla (Sissy) Sparks of Booneville, Arkansas. She will missed by all who knew her, because to Frannie everyone was family. She never met a stranger and welcomed everyone with open arms. Frannie is preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Williams and her grandparents, Louise and Esther Blair and Bill and Luvena Williams. Frannie?s celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Union Hill, Arkansas with Rev. Jay Hunnicutt officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Hill Cemetery in Union Hill, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Frannie?s pallbearers will be Bruce Ray, Sam Whitehurst, Michael Whitehurst, Thaddeus Wilkins, Mike Morris, Matt Himes and Richie Pitts. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Metcalf, Bobby Jack Scantling, Donny Scantling and Johnny Ray Scantling. Frannie?s visitation willl be 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2012 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas. Frannie?s family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
