Frances Abigail (Deer) Shores, better known known as Gail, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, July 6, 2013 in Waldron, Arkansas, surrounded by her loving family. Gail was born May 3, 1946 to Otis Deer and Wilma Leon (Drapier) Deer in Dumas, Arkansas. Gail was 67 years, 3 months and 2 days old. She was a member of the Waldron Pentecostal Church of God. As a young girl of 14, Gail married the love of her life, Arnold. Together they have led an adventurous life starting on the day they married in 1961, in that little house on Highway 80. Although life is not always easy, Gail put her faith in God and they conquered each and every adversity. Gail was a strong Christian woman who loved to read her Bible. She enjoyed listening to the Gospel channel on television. But absolutely, her pastime and her passion was that for her family. She lived for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. There was always a handful or more at her home and she loved ?taking care of her grandbabies.? Gail leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 52 years, Arnold Shores of the home. Gail was a loving mother to her children: Randy Shores and wife Diane of Waldron, Arkansas, Otis Matthew Shores of Waldron, Arkansas, Brian Keith Shores of Waldron, Arkansas, Wesley Dewayne Shores and wife Jennifer of Greenwood, Arkansas, Darla Fay Shores of Waldron, Arkansas and Kristie Michelle McDaniel and husband Trent of Waldron, Arkansas. Granny Gail will forever be missed by her grandchildren: Katrina Shores, Amanda and Christopher Shores, Heather Shores, Cody Shores, Amber Shores, Farah Shores, Dustin Shores, Hannah Shores, Haylee Shores, Mercedes Shores, Jacob Shores, Trevor Shores, Amanda Shores, Caleb Shores, RayLan Morris Shores, Phillip Shores, Lacy Shores, Dawson Shores, Hayden Shores, Heaven McDaniel, Paige McDaniel, as well as three great grandchildren: Daven Smith, Tade Shores, and Tate Shores. Gail will also missed by her siblings: Jimmy Deer, Louise Ault, Marion ?Mutt? Deer, and Coy Deer. Gail will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives were impacted by her including her many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and loved ones. Gail is preceded in death by her parents, Otis Deer & Wilma Leon (Drapier) Deer, three sons, Billy Ray Shores, Phillip Lee Shores and Arnold Wayne Shores, and two brothers, Robert Deer and Bruce Deer. Gail?s life celebrations will at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2013 at the Pentecostal Church of God in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Rickey Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the Lamb Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Gail?s pallbearers will be Randy Shores, Wesley Shores, Otis Matthew Shores, Hayden Shores, Cody Shores and Dustin Shores. Honorary pallbearers will be Trent McDaniel, Austin Hunt, Phillip Shores, Brian Gates and Jimmy Deer. Gail?s visitation will be Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
