Floyd Snyder

Floyd Dale Snyder, 80, of Waldron, AR. passed away Sunday, January 25th, 2009 at his home
Floyd was born in Arapahoe, CO on August 11, 1928, the son of the late Harve and Elva O. (Minor) Snyder.
He was a Rancher and a member of the Pilot Prairie Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean and Vet. War. And retired from the Army after 21 years of service to our country.
Floyd was survived by his wife of 54 years, Gerda of the home, two daughters, Barbara Romolo of Denver, CO., Angela Swackhammer of Mena, AR., one son, Joe Snyder of Jonesboro, AR., three sisters, Anna Knoll of Burlington, CO., Margie Billinger of Cheyenne Wells, CO., Wilma Graham of Loveland, CO. and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Jean Huie, one sister, Lois Snyder, one brother, Mort Snyder.
Floyd's funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2009 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rickey Hunt, officiating with interment at 1:00 p.m. in the U. S. National Cemetery in Ft. Smith, AR. with full Military honors under the direction of the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home
Pallbearers will be members of the U. S. Army Honor Guard.
Visitation will be 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
