Flora Ellen Black

Flora Ellen Black passed from this life Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital. Flora was born September 1, 1925 in Dumas, Arkansas to George W. and Maudie (Davis) Harris. She was 92 years, 2 months, and 13 days old.


Flora was a homemaker and attended the Living Word Training Center in Waldron, Arkansas.


Flora leave behind to cherish her memory two daughters, Lequeta Holman of Tulare, CA., Gale Black of Visalia, CA.; five sons, Larry Vincent of Mena, AR., Larry Joe Black of Y-City, AR., Paul Vincent of Tulare, CA., Albert Black of Clarksville, AR., Robert Black of Visalia, CA.; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Martha Harris of Tipton, CA.. Flora will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives she touched.


Flora is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Albert J. Black, one son, Carol Vincent, 1 sister, and 4 brothers.


Flora's graveside life celebration will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 19, 2018, at Chant Cemetery with Rev. Grady Parker, officiating. Arrangements are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.


Flora's pallbearers will be Larry Vincent, Paul Vincent, Albert Black, Robert Black, and Ken Holman.
