Ellen Van Pelt of Waldron went to be with her Lord and Savior, May 8, 2017 in Waldron, Arkansas. Ellen was born December 13, 1935 in San Angelo, Texas to Charles Taylor and Clara Taylor. Ellen was 81 years old. She was was an active member of Boles Freewill Baptist Church.
Ellen enjoyed crafts and sewing. It's been said that she would do anything for her friends. You could not find any better friend or any worse enemy. Ellen lived life "Her Own Way."
Ellen leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons Dale E. Larsen of Hot Springs AR, Brian S. Larsen of Sugar City CO, and Rickey D. Barclay of Concord CA as well as 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Ellen was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Van Pelt and one son, Mark R. Larsen
Ellen's memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday May 13, 2017 at the Boles Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Pat Ray Biggs officiating. Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
