Donnie Shaddon

Rev. Donnie Gene Shaddon went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in Waldron, Arkansas surrounded by his loving family. Donnie was born August 23, 1947 in Dinuba, California to Edgar Shaddon and Rosie Belle (Prewett) Shaddon. Donnie was 65 years, 1 month and 9 days old. Donnie was a member of Waldron Pentecostal Church of God in Waldron, Arkansas. Rev. Donnie was a licensed minister who loved the Lord with all his heart and wanted to share Gods word with everyone he met. It?s been said he was a very ?Bold Witness? for the Lord. He was unequivocally a devoted Christian. When he was not working, Donnie enjoyed hunting and fishing. Donnie?s love and care for his family was most evident. He was most proud of his children and grandchildren and the time he spent with them were his most treasured moments. Donnie leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 43 years, Geraldine (Judy) Shaddon of the home, two sons, Daniel Gene Shaddon of Greenwood, Arkansas and Adam Richard Shaddon and wife Kim of Russellville, Arkansas. Papa Donnie will forever be missed by three grandchildren, Garrett Shaddon, Ethan Shaddon and Riley Shaddon. Donnie is also survived by a twin sister Bonnie Dale of Banks, Oregon, three brothers, Lonnie Shaddon of Booneville, Arkansas, LeRoy Shaddon of Dover, Arkansas and Frank Shaddon of Waldron, Arkansas. Donnie was loved and will be missed by his extended family and friends. Donnie is preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by two sisters, Shirley Shaddon and Gerleen Crossman and one brother Joe Shaddon. Donnie?s life celebration will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2012 at Waldron Pentecostal Church of God with Rev. Rickey Hunt and Rev. Mike Shaddon officiating. Interment will follow in the Square Rock Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Donnie?s pallbearers will be Wade Shaddon, Josh Shaddon, Clinton Shaddon, Larry Justice, David Jones and Jerry Ray Hutchens. Honorary pallbearers will be Buster Snellgroves and Coleman Haga. Donnie?s visitation will be Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas where Donnie?s family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
