Donald Rogers

Donald F. Rogers, Sr.71, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Sunday, April 4, 2010 in a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital . Donald was born on January 18, 1939 in Mesa, Arizona to the late Olan Jasper and Gladys Inez (West) Rogers. He attended the Waldron Assembly of God Church and was a retired USDA poultry inspector. Donald is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann (Vaughn) Rogers of the home; four daughters, Angela Dickens of Waldron, Arkansas, Sandy Shaddon of Waldron, Arkansas, Rose Garrison of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Marcia Harvey of Waldron, Arkansas; one son, Donald F. Rogers, Jr. of California, Missouri; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Donald's graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Chant Cemetery in Y-City, Arkansas with Rev. Rickey Hunt, officiating. Arrangements are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron. Visitation will be 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, and 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon Wednesday at the funeral home. Donald's family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m..
