Derek Scoggin

Derek Allen Scoggin, 31, of Poteau, Oklahoma formerly of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Sunday, August 29, 2010 in Poteau, Oklahoma. Derek was born January 4, 1979 in Uravan, Colorado to Daniel and Lucille Reed. He was a lover of life and celebrated it often. Derek is survived by his parents of Waldron, Arkansas; one son, Dakota Lane Miner of Waldron, Arkansas; two brothers, Dean and Wife Shelly Scoggin of Waldron, Arkansas, Charlie and Wife Carla Scoggin of Mena, Arkansas; two sisters, Rachel and husband Bobby Shelton of Spiro, Oklahoma, Ida and husband Daniel Hinchee of Bates, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews. He was loved and will be missed by many family and friends. Derek?s memorial service will be held Friday, September 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
