David Wayne Canada Sr. 54, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in Waldron, Arkansas. David enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding horses, spending time with his grandchildren, he was a member of the car club and served in the Army National Guard. David was born on July 16, 1956 in Taos, New Mexico to the late Willie Jean & Walter Clifford Canada. David is survived by his wife Belinda Carol Metcalf of Cecil, AR. one daughter, April Nicole Fortenberry and husband Shawn Jr of Cecil, Arkansas, one son, David Wayne Canada Jr and wife Nina of Waldron, Arkansas, six grandchildren, Zachary Brandon Canada, Benjamin Joshua Canada, Nathan Dallas Canada, Trinity Rayn Fortenberry, Torrance Rayanne Fortenberry, Tavilynn Rayleigh Fortenberry, three sisters, Evelena Drain, Christine Berry, and Cynthia Canada. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by two sisters, Edith Canada, and Dawn Canada. David?s funeral service will be held at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May, 10, 2011 with Rev. Tom Garrison officiating. Interment will follow in the Pilot Prairie Cemetery in Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. David?s pallbearers will be James Bynum, Donald Cairns, Blakely Metcalf, Glen Braussard, Blake Garrison, Chuck Brothers, Jessie Phillips, and Alvin Carnahan. His honorary pallbearers will be Joe Boy Brown and Leon Jones. David?s visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
