Daniel Dean Yount, 78, of Mountainburg, Arkansas passed from this life, Wednesday, August 24th, 2011 in his home surrounded by his family.
Daniel was born in Pangburn, Arkansas, August 2, 1933 to the late Charles and Ida (Floyd) Yount . He graduated from Mabelvale High School, and was married to Carolyn Sue (Erwin) Yount for 59 years.
Daniel is survived by his wife Carolyn Sue Yount of Mountianburg, Arkansas; a son Nicky Yount of Mountainburg, Arkansas; one granddaughter Rachel Yount of DeQueen, Arkansas; and one great-granddaughter Emma Yount also of DeQueen, Arkansas; one sister Fern Mayer of North Little Rock, Arkansas; one brother Adrian L. Yount of Little Rock, Arkansas. As well as a number of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by three brothers, Norvel Yount, LA Yount, OC Yount.
Daniel?s graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the Vaught Cemetery in Mountainburg with Arther Richmond, officiating. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Nicky Yount, Nathanael Erwin, Matthew Erwin, Martin Martinez, Caleb Erwin and Ethan Erwin.
Visitation will be held at Ocker Funeral Home in Alma, Arkansas, Friday, August 26, 2011 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
