Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister Clara M. (Moore) Taff went home to be with The Lord Saturday, November 30, 2013 in Waldron, AR. Clara was born April 27, 1933 in Cauthron, AR.
In 1951, Clara married Calvin Taff and moved to Oklahoma City, OK, where they raised their family. She served Oklahoma City Public Schools as a school secretary for many years. In 2000, Clara and Calvin retired to Waldron. Clara was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waldron and loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Calvin, and her four children, daughter, Chappie Jeanne (Taff) Prim; son Calvin Christopher (Chris) Taff, his wife Sally, and their daughters Hannah Elaine Taff and Molly Naomi Taff; son Timothy Scott Taff, his wife Davina, and their sons Cody Scott Taff, Kyle Matthew Taff, and Connor Steven Taff; daughter Sarah Ann (Taff) Ramsey, her husband Bill, and their children Matthew Cole Ramsey, Jessica Erin Ramsey, and Rebecca Grace Ramsey. She is also survived by her brother Leon Moore, her sisters Raye (Moore) Thomas and Faye (Moore) Brown, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Clara is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lelia (Tamplin) Moore, and her sister Gertie Lee (Moore) Weikel.
Clara's funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, AR with Diane Millard officiating. Interment will follow at Birdsview Cemetery in Waldron, AR. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
Clara's visitation will be Monday, December 2, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers please make a contribution to the charity of your choice.
Clara's pallbearers will be Chris Taff, Tim Taff, Bill Ramsey, Kyle Taff, Connor Taff, Matthew Ramsey and Honorary Pallbearer will be Cody Taff.
