Christopher Don Black of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ September, 24, 2012 at his home. He was born May 6, 1979 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Billy Don and Terry (Erby) Black. He was 33 years, 4 months, and 18 days old. Christopher attended Waldron Freewill Baptist Church in Waldron, Arkansas.

As a young boy Christopher loved attending Waldron Freewill Baptist Church. Christopher loved hunting and football. However, his greatest love was the time he spent with his children and family.

Christopher leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Ola Louise (Storts) Black of the home; one son, Lance Black of Waldron, Arkansas; four step-sons, Matthew Shaddon, Christopher Shaddon, Billy Shaddon, and Brandon Mahaffey; one sister, Tina Brewer and husband Stanley of Waldron, Arkansas; and four brothers, Rick Black and wife, Virginia of Waldron, Arkansas, Dub Black and wife Brenda of Waldron, Arkansas, Larry Mason of Waldron, Arkansas and Billy Mason of Waldron, Arkansas.

Christopher is preceded in death , in addition to his parents, by one sister, Gina Sanders and two brothers, Neal Newman and Jeff Mason.

Christopher?s Celebration of life will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rickey Hunt and Rev. Michael Dugan officiating. Interment will follow in the Square Rock Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.

Christopher?s pallbearers will be Gary Hunt, Bobby Don Helms, Lee Storts, Grady Bottoms, Keith Sanders, and Rick Bates. Honorary pallbearers will be Stanley Brewer and Gerald Essman.

Christopher?s visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
