Charlie Faye Hope of Van Buren, Arkansas passed from this life, Sunday, July 24, 2016 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Charlie was born March 1, 1933 to William Allen and Flora Elizabeth (Nelson) Hope in Barber, Arkansas. Charlie was 83 years, 4 Months and 23 days old.
Charlie worked at the Waldron Furniture Factory for many years, and also was a furniture maker in his later years.
Charlie leaves behind to cherish his memory, two daughters: Pam Doyle and husband Ray of Haw Creek, Oklahoma, Charlotte Hope of Booneville, Arkansas, and one son, Allen Hope of Conway, Arkansas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren: Matthew, Joshua and Lindsey Young all of Waldron, Arkansas, Christopher Hope of Durham, NC, Daniel Hope of Putman, Arkansas, Elizabeth Harp of Springdale, Arkansas, Jacey Owens, and Nikki Ryles both of Booneville, Arkansas; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Charlie will also be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives were impacted by his, including many nieces and nephews.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, William Allen and Flora Elizabeth Hope, one son, Floyd Hope, one daughter, Debra Hope and two brothers, Ray Hope and Bill Hope
Charlie's family will have a private life celebration service at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
