Charles Irvin Collins Jr., 57, was born on December 20, 1964 to Charles I. Collins Sr. and Barbara Smallwood Collins in Wabash, Indiana.
Charles worked at Tyson Foods for 22 years. Charles loved to restore old tractors and building his Christmas displays. He was an avid mechanic and was always helping others. He truly enjoyed being a father and grandfather and loved his family dearly.
Charles is survived by his wife Charolette. Children; Stephanie Collins of Georgia, Tabitha Babish of Odessa, Texas, Charleen (Frank) Ross of Mansfield, Arkansas, Clint (Brenda) House, Dylan (Larissa) House, Chelsea (Blake) Defoor all of Waldron, Arkansas. Whitney (Chris) Boyle of Booneville, Arkansas. He will be missed by his 14 Grandchildren. His sisters; Natalie (Kelvin) Kelley, Theresa Coley, Rachel Davis. His brothers; Vince (Maxine) Collins, Tony Collins and Bobby (Samantha) Collins. Several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncle. He will also be missed by his special dog Trixie.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles I. Collins Sr and Barbara (Smallwood) Collins, his maternal grandparents, Fred and Velma (Cates) Smallwood, his paternal grandparents, Ewing and Viola Pearl Jane Collins, mother and father-in-law, Bill and Joyce Chrisman and nephew, Isaac Davis.
Charles' life celebration will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Zack Hale and Rev. Pat Ray Biggs officiating. Interment will follow at Union Hill Cemetery in Union Hill, Arkansas.
A visitation will take place from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2022 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be: Bobby Collins, Tony Collins, Clint House, Dylan House, Blake Defoor, Chris Boyle, Levi Kelley and Eli Kelley. Honorary Pallbearers are: Zack Kelley, Jeremiah Kelley, Ethan Coley, Dylan Coley, Gary (Red) Chrisman, Bryce Collins, David Chrisman, Kelvin Kelley and the maintenance team of Tyson Foods.
