Cathy Jolynn Nichols, 54, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Thursday, August 18, 2011 at a Fort Smith hospital. Cathy was born May 22, 1957 in Waldron Arkansas to the late Vernon Eslon Woodard and Verlia Dean (Newberry) Woodard. Cathy was a retired government worker. Cathy is survived by two daughters, Brooklyn Taylor Nichols of the home, Andrea Faye Nichols of Springhill, Louisiana; one son, Nathan Brown of Waldron, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Chance Nichols, Ashley Creek, Payton Brown, Devon Brown, Colton Nichols, and Caleb Decker. She is also survived by one sister, Pat Hopson of Winboro, Texas; two brothers, Gary Woodard of Charleston, Arkansas, and Vernon ?Bim? Woodard of Waldron, Arkansas She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by one son Micheal Nichols and one grandson Trevor Brown.. Cathy?s funeral service will be held Monday, August 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Rickey Hunt officiating. Interment will follow at Square Rock Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Her pallbearers will be Jerhome Waddle, Jeff Waddle, Scott Bradley, Keith Sanders, Josh Miner, and Boogie Richmond. Her honorary pallbearers will be Bill Sanders, Jay Waddle, D.J. Pyles, Roberta Passmore, Seanna Martin and Sara Himes Cathy?s visitation will be Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
