Carolyn Sue (erwin) Yount

Carolyn Sue Yount, 83 of Mountainburg, Arkansas, passed from this life Tuesday October 23, 2018. Sue was born September 25, 1935 in Little Rock AR to Robert and Mildred (Lee) Erwin. She was 83 years old.

She was a 1952 graduate of Mabelvale High School. She was married to her high school sweetheart Daniel Yount for 59 years and they had one son. She has dedicated the last 18 years of her life as the Director of the Mountainburg Public Library.

Sue is survived by one son Nicky Yount, one granddaughter Rachel Yount, one great granddaughter Emma Yount, all of Mountainburg, AR, one sister Charlotte Hickey, 5 nieces, 2 nephews and many more family and loved ones.

Sue is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Yount, two brothers, Robert "Bob" Erwin, and Monroe "Butch" Erwin and one nephew Mike Erwin.

Graveside services will be Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 10:00 am at Vaught Cemetery on Highway 71 in Mountainburg, Arkansas.

Visitation will be October 26, 2018 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at Ocker Putman Funeral Home in Alma Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home of Waldron, Arkansas.
