Carolyn Young

Carolyn Kay Young, 60 of Hon, Arkansas passed from this life Thursday, July 21, 2011 in a Waldron, Arkansas hospital. Carolyn was born April, 10, 1951 at Gove, Kansas to the late Elwyn and Elvera (Friesen) Alexander. Carolyn is survived by her husband Jimmy Leon Young of the home; one daughter, Evelyn LeeAnn Godfrey and husband Mikey; three sons, Travis Scott Polen, Randy Bruce Young and wife, Vicki, Sam Young; four grandsons, Levi Woodard, Tristin Godfrey, Elijah Polen, Tyler Jacob Young; three granddaughters, Makenzie Polen, Caitlyn Young, Peyton Boyd; five sisters, Connie Steele and husband Mark, Sarah Prebble and husband Larry, Marie Partington and husband Howard, Joyce Alexander and husband Larry, Goldie Goodwin and husband Doug; two brothers, Ronald Alexander and wife Alice, Jimmy Alexander and wife Treasa; and many other friends and relatives. Carolyn?s funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m., Monday, July 25, 2011 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Hon Cemetery in Hon, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Carolyn?s pallbearers will be Elijah Polen, Levi Woodard, Tristin Godfrey, Steven Passmore, Jason Steele, Travis Polen and Alan Bananader. Her honorary pallbearer will be Bert Passmore. Carolyn?s visitation will be Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m..
