Carol R. "Mom" Bloom of Waldron, Arkansas, formerly of California passed from this life, Saturday, August 12, 2017 in Waldron, Arkansas. Carol was born August 2, 1941 in Rochester, Pennsylvania to Wallace McCormick and Wilma Gene (Goettman) McCormick. Carol was 76 years old.
Carol worked for 32 years as a police dispatcher for Oxnard Police Department. She then worked for Port Hueneme Police Department as a dispatcher and then she retired for good. Carol followed the horses, jocky's and trainers. She was a huge fan of the horse races. As a younger woman, Carol was an Arthur Murray dancer. Carol loved her family and looked forward to time spent with them.
Carol leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons: John Jessa of Little Rock, Arkansas, Ronald Jessa of Fillmore, California and one daughter, Renee Kaminski of Olathe, Kansas. Grandma will forever remain in the hearts of her grandchildren and great grandchildren: Amber, Eric, Robert, Michael, Amanda, John Jr., Samantha, Desiree, Sarrah, Ronald, Ariel, Rick, Haidyn, Maddox, Aubrey, Hunter, Sky, Bentley, Maci, Angel, Johnny, Ariana, Elisa, Laya and Leloo. Carol will missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives she impacted including a host of extended family, friends and loved ones.
Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Bloom.
Carol's memorial visitation will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
