C. L. Scott, 78, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed from this life Thursday, April 21, 2011 in a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital. C. L. was born to the late Johnny W. and Trilba Mae (Taylor) Scott, September 25, 1932 in Boles, Arkansas. He was a member of the Free Range Cowboy Church in Greenwood. C. L. is survived by his wife, Melba Scott of Greenwood, Arkansas; five daughters, Deborah Brock and husband Michael of Greenwood, Arkansas, Pamela Yother and husband Larry of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Glenda Tittle and husband Randy of Springdale, Arkansas, Paula Reed and husband John of Lavaca, Arkansas Patricia Ann Hewett and husband Stanley of Charleston, Arkansas; one son, Gary Lynn Scott of Fort Smith, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren. He is also survived by two bothers, Harold Scott of Witcherville, and Eugene Scott of Boles, Arkansas. C. L. is preceded in death in addition to his parents by one sister, Betty Mae Scott; one brother, Charles Scott; a grandson, David Whitsett; and one great-granddaughter, Madison SanNicolas. C. L.?s funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Scott and Rev. Kirby Vaughn, officiating. Interment will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery in Boles, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Tittle, Jerry Elmore, Daymon Scott, Garett Scott, Mike McConnell and Chuck Parsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Foy Brown, Jay Gipson, Jackie Lomon, Larry Williams, Lendal Williams, Robert Frost, and Leonard Ed Ridenhour. C. L.?s visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, C. L.?s family has requested that memorials be made to the Free Range Cowboy Church, P. O. Box 3242, Greenwood, Arkansas 72936.
