Gene Bullock, 79, of Waldron, AR. passed away Tuesday, August 26th, 2008.
He was a Army Veteran of the Korean War, attended the Waldron First Church of the Nazarene. He loved to coon hunt, and was an avid sports fan. He was a member of the River Valley Pro-Am Golf Association
Gene was born in Lake City, TN on September 14, 1928, the son of the late Curtis and Grace (Campbell) Bullock.
He served in the U.S. Army as a Cpl in the Korean War.
Gene is survived by his wife Verla of 55 years, three daughters, Marquita Hattabaugh and husband Steve of Elm Park, AR., Denise Thompson and husband Mike of Barling, Arkansas, Gina Epperson and husband Tracy of Mansfield, Arkansas.
He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren,
Gene is also survived by a sister, Nellafa Wright of Halls Crossroads, TN, a brother, Curtis Bullock, Jr. of Lawrenceburg, KY. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ernest Bullock, Jr.
Funeral service will be at the Waldron First Church of the Nazarene, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 30th, with Rev. Marvin Frederick officiating with interment in the Square Rock Cemetery in Waldron, AR. under the direction of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home of Waldron.
Pallbearers will be Trevor, Garris, Shay, Chase Hattabaugh, Jamin Scott, and Jaren Ridenhour.
Visitation will be Friday 12 - 9 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home of Waldron, AR.
