Bruce Harvey Dorr

Bruce H. Dorr, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Saturday evening, November 9, 2013 in a Waldron, Arkansas nursing home. Bruce was born to Sherman Elmer and Bertha (Bookout) Dorr in Muskogee, Oklahoma on May 12, 1933. Bruce was 80 years, 5 months, and 25 days old.


Bruce leaves behind to cherish his memory, one daughter, Kathy Hattabaugh of Mansfield, Arkansas; two sons, Joe Dorr of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Perry Dorr of Waldron, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren, Sherry and Brook Scamardo, Jason and Justin Dorr, Whit Jameson, Lydia and Brett Dorr, Geri Hodgson, Bud Hodgson, Laura and Marisa Hattabaugh; two great grandchildren, Madison Grace Renah Dorr, Jacob Christopher Dorr; one brother, John Dorr of Delano, California; and a very special friend, Linda Davis of Waldron, Arkansas.


Bruce's life celebration service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Free, officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Waldron. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.


Bruce's pallbearers will be Seth Feimster, Bobby Chrisman, Larry "Peewee" Russell, Russell Hale, Kyle Owens, Floyd Brown, Mark Tinder.


Bruce's honorary pallbearers will be all of his hunting buddies.


Bruce's visitation will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas where the family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
