Brenda Lee Payne, 50, of Waldron, AR. passed away Thursday, January 22nd, 2009 in a Waldron hospital.
Brenda was born in Poteau, Ok on October 15, 1958, the daughter of the late Vachell Dempsy and Joann (McDaniel) Yancey.
She was a homemaker and a graduate of Waldron High School. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Brenda is survived by her husband James Lewis Payne of the home, two daughters, Misty Dawn Simmons and husband James of Waldron, AR., Tammy Caviness and husband Roy of Harrison, AR. two sons Terry Payne and wife Patricia of Springfield, AR., Johnny Payne and wife, Sheila of Leslie, AR.; grandkids, Jamie Phillips, Cali Brasel, Dannon Caviness, Heather Payne, Ashlynn Payne, Sammuel Byrd, Nathan Payne and expecting grandson, Taven James Simmons; one brother, Jack Yancey his wife Annette and daughter, Teaira of Waldron, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dempsy and Joann Yancey.
Brenda?s funeral service will be at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 26th, 2009 with Bro. Larry Free and Bro. Freddie Woodrall officiating with interment in the Weeks Cemetery under the direction of the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Essman, Bernis Rogers, Caleb Free, Daniel Free, Josh Edwards, and Daniel Allen.
Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Wayne Thompson, and Clint DeShazo.
Visitation will be 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, 9:00 a. m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
