Brenda June Blanton of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Tuesday, May 22, 2012 in Waldron, Arkansas. Brenda was born in Wilton Arkansas to Richard Hall Jones and Myrtie Beatrice (McKay) Jones. Brenda was 62 years, 9 months and 23 days old. She was of the Baptist faith. Brenda was the owner and operator of Brenda?s Beauty Shop in Waldron, Arkansas until her retirement in 2005. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts. She loved to play bingo and go bowling. Her most cherished times were those spent with her family and friends. Brenda leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Earl Blanton of the home; two sons, Richard Blanton of Waldron, Arkansas, David Cecil of Barling, Arkansas and one daughter Lasha Johnson of Paron, Arkansas. Nanny will forever missed by her grandchildren: Tyler Hutchins, Audra Blanton, Trey Parker, Katie Parker and great granddaugterAllie Blanton. Brenda is also survived by two sisters, Sherry Spencer of Waldron, Arkansas and Joyce Green of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Brenda will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Brenda is preceded in death by four brothers: Marion Jones, Kenneth Jones, David Jones and Jerry Jones and one sister Barbara Bonny. Brenda?s life celebration service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Rickey Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the Kirk Cemetery in Cauthron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Brenda?s pallbearers will be Trey Parker, Tyler Hutchins, Katie Parker, Audra Blanton, Scott Lawson and Jody Farliss. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Spencer. Brenda?s visitation will be 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
