Bonnie Jean Milam of Waldron, Arkansas formerly of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, November 29, 2012 in Waldron, Arkansas. Bonnie was born September 5, 1933 to the late Charles Payton and May Bell Thomas Payton in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Bonnie was 79 years, 2 months and 24 days old. She was of the Baptist faith. Bonnie loved her family. She was the care taker for everyone. She enjoyed cooking and in her spare time she loved to do canning and preserving. Bonnie leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons: Larry Allen and wife Robin of Harvey, Arkansas and Gary Allen and wife Rita of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Bonnie will forever be missed by seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Bonnie is also survived by two sisters: Betty Kennard of Jasper Texas and Louise Almeida of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma as well as one brother, Tommy Payton of Ingleside, Illinois. Bonnie will remain in the hearts of numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones. Bonnie is preceded in death by one daughter, Cathy, one grandson, Derek, two sisters: Alice and Ruth, and four brothers: Billy, Buddy, Jimmy and Lee. Bonnie?s life celebration will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. J.A. Hunnicutt officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroe Cemetery in Harvey, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Bonnie?s pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons: Larry Allen Jr., Clinton Allen, Aaron Allen, Justin Allen, Colby Allen and Ty Allen. Bonnie?s visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
