Bonita Langley

December 30, 1939 — March 30, 2012

In memory of our mother: You were a precious gift from God above, so much beauty, so much grace, and full of love. You touched our hearts in so many ways, your smile was like sunshine, through all of your days. You are gone but not forgotten, and although we are apart, your spirit lives within us, forever in our hearts. Bonita Sue Langley of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, March 30, 2012 in Waldron, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Bonita was born December 30, 1939 in Waldron, Arkansas to the late Grace Ballard and Pat Richmond. She was the youngest of 4 siblings. Bonita was 72 years and 3 months old. She was a devout Christian with the heart of a servant, and an active member of Waldron First Church of the Nazarene. On January 9, 1954 Bonita married the love of her life, Kelly Langley. Bonita was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and homemaker. She was known for her beautiful smile and sweet disposition. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, baking, gardening, and maintaining her home. She was a rock of support to all who knew her, and the anchor of her family. The legacy of her life remains through her children and grandchildren, a precious legacy that will be forever preserved in loving memories. Bonita is survived by her husband of 58 years, Kelly Langley of the home, one daughter, Karen Hunt of Waldron, Arkansas, two sons Kelly Langley Jr. of Waldron, Arkansas and Richmond Langley and wife Kristi of Greenwood, Arkansas. Gran will forever remain a precious memory to her grandchildren, Nicole Tull and husband Dave, Jeremy Hunt and wife Kansas, Bryce Langley and Brant Langley. Gran has also touched the lives of her great grandchildren, Dylan Self, Dakota Tull, Caleb Tull, Logan Tull, Brady Hunt, Caden Hunt and Kayleigh Hunt. Bonita will also be missed by three sisters, Verla Bullock of Waldron, Arkansas, Patricia Frost of North Little Rock, Arkansas, and Janice Hardin of Waldron, Arkansas. Bonita is also survived by her step mother, Lucille Richmond of Waldron, Arkansas and many nieces, nephews and loved ones who will feel her absence. Bonita is preceded in death by not only her parents but one brother Pat Richmond Jr. and one son in law, Jerry Hunt. Bonita?s celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday April 3, 2012 at Waldron First Church of the Nazaren in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Marvin Frederick officiating. Interment will follow in the Pilot Prairie Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Bonita?s pall bearers will be Steve Hattabaugh, Tracy Epperson, James Bray, Bryce Langley, Dakota Tull and Jeremy Hunt. Bonita?s visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas. Bonita?s family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.
