Bobby Joe Smith of Boles, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, August 20, 2013 in Boles, Arkansas. Bobby was born to Homer Smith and Vera Nichols Smith in Hayti, Missouri. Bobby was 76 years, 10 months and 1 day old.
Bobby proudly served in the United States Navy from 1954-1962. He was retired from the mining business as a millwright. Bobby was an extremely talented artist. He enjoyed the outdoors and being in nature.
Bobby leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 58 years, Lenora Addington Smith of Boles, Arkansas, three sons:Wade Smith of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Chet Smith of Casper, Wyoming and Ty Smith of Ontario, California as well as thirteen grandchildren. Bobby will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives were impacted by him including nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and loved ones.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Vera Smith.
Bobby's life celebration will be 6:00 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Haw Creek Baptist Church in Waldron, Arkansas with Brother John Elmore officiating. A private interment will follow at a later date. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
