Billy Don Black, 78, of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life Friday, February 5, 2010 in a Waldron hospital surrounded by his family. He was born July 26, 1931 at Waltreak, Arkansas to the late William Black and Virgie Mae (Woodard) Black. Billy Don is survived one daughter, Tina Brewer of Waldron, Arkansas; three sons, Ricky Black of Waldron, Arkansas, Dub Black of Greenwood, Arkansas, Chris Black of Waldron, Arkansas; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; one sister, Eva Hunt of Waldron, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Regina Sanders; one great-grandson, Chase Bates. Billy Don?s funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2010 at the Heritage Memorial Chapel with Rev. Herman Woodard and Rev. Mike Dugan, officiating. Interment will follow in the Square Rock Cemetery in Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Gary Hunt, Alfred Brown, Johnny Brown, Myrten Owens, Gerald Essman, and Bobby Helms. Honorary Pallbearers will be Leonard Ed Ridenhour, Tommy Phillips, and Billy Harwell. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, and 8:00 a.m. to the funeral hour Monday at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, February 7, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
