Betty Lou Potter of Waldron, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, January 3, 2013 in Waldron, Arkansas. Betty was born August 18, 1933 to Argus Riley Wright and Jewel Gertrude (Bottoms) Wright in Waldron, Arkansas. .Betty was 79 years, 4 months and 16 days old. In 1974 in Carson City, Nevada, Betty married the love of her life, Fredrick Potter. They made their life together for 39 wonderful years. After Betty worked for many years for a glass company, she and Rod retired to her home town of Waldron to be closer to family. She loved flowers and she enjoyed watching the dogs play. Betty leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband Fredrick ?Rod? Potter of the home, two brothers, Vernon Leroy ?VL? Wright and Thomas Ray Wright both of Waldron, Arkansas. Betty will be missed by all that knew her and the many who?s lives were impacted by her including numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and loved ones. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Argus and Jewel Wright, one sister Olgie Aleene Jones and two brothers, Jackie Wright and Virgil Lee Wright. Betty?s celebration of life service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Pilot Prairie Cemetery with Rev. Rickey Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the Pilot Prairie Cemetery near Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas. Betty?s pallbeares will be Kevin Ray Wright, Kolten Ray Wright, Steve Holmes, Richard Wright, John Knight and JT Ray, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Wright and Vernon Leroy "VL" Wright. Betty?s visitation will be Friday, January 4, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas. Betty's family request, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Pilot Prairie Cemetery fund, C/O Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, P.O. Box 358, Waldron, AR 72958.
