Benjamin Joseph Trager of Waldron, Arkansas passed from this life, Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in Waldron, Arkansas. Ben was born November 5, 1962 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Joyce Clara (Cook) Trager and Douglas Henry Trager. Ben was 54 years and 10 days old.

Ben attended St. Jude Catholic Church in Waldron, Arkansas. He was a Eucharistic minister for many years. Ben was an active member of the United States Navy from 1982 until 1987. He was an Aviation Electronic Technician. While Ben was stationed overseas, he met the love of his life, Pelagia Arnino. They married in 1985 and spent 31 years building a life together as husband and wife, best friends and soul mates. Ben enjoyed spending time with his family and making memories. Ben loved hunting, and fishing. He was talented in drawing and very artistic.

Ben leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Pelagia Trager of the home, his parents, Joyce and Douglas Trager of Waldron, Arkansas. three sisters, Theresa Lovett of Waldron Arkansas, Nicole Trager of West Memphis, Arkansas, and Antonia Anders and husband Ken of Missouri, and one brother, Christopher Trager of Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Ben will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives he impacted, including a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

Ben's memorial life celebration will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 18, 2016 at the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
