Alicia Darlene Dickens, 30, of Waldron, AR. passed away Wednesday, February 11th, 2009 in a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital. She was a beautiful and loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She is loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Alicia was born in Danville, AR on December 20, 1978, the daughter of Allen R. and Beverly D. (Cheesman) Dickens.
She attended Waldron High School.
Alicia is survived by her son, Trenton Sanders of Waldron, Arkansas; mom and dad, Allen and Beverly Dickens of Waldron, Arkansas; two sisters, Michelle Dickens, Amy Dickens Slater and husband Sam of Waldron, Arkansas; her granny Elgin Dickens; her fiancé, James Young of Waldron, Arkansas; two nieces, Adrianna, Samatha Slater; one nephews Samuel Slater of Waldron, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Nathan Allen Dickens; her sister Alison Dickens; grandpa, Raymond Dickens; grandpa and grandma Marvin and Rosie Cheesman.
Alicia?s funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 14, 2009 at the Waldron Pentecostal Church of God with the Rev. Rickey Hunt, officiating with interment in the Union Hill Cemetery in Union Hill, Arkansas under the direction of the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
Pallbearer will be Sam Slater, Dean Dickens, Doyle Dickens, Shawn Williams, Rick Mahurin and Wade Cheesman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Loren Dickens, and Kirby Sanders, Doyle Wayne Dickens and Johnny McCullah, M. C. Himes.
Visitation will be 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, February 13th, and Saturday, February 14th, 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the funeral home.
Alicia?s family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday.
