Addie A. Blalock 90, of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in a Waldron hospital surround by her loving family.
Addie was born December 27, 1919 in Parks, Arkansas to the late Loyd Ernest Brazil and Lillian (Frost) Brazil. She was a homemaker and a member of the Waldron First Baptist Church.
Addie is survived by three daughters, Joyce Lea Thompson of Keener, Arkansas, Mary Arlene Rudnicki of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Lydia Ann Butler of Waldron, Arkansas; three granddaughters, Lucinda Jane Rhyne of Waldron, Arkansas, Georgianna Gleason of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Regina Tedder of Newalla, Oklahoma; five grandsons, Christopher Thompson of Keener, Arkansas, Phillip Casey of Waldron, Arkansas, Chance Rudnicki of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Matthew Butler of Lubbock, Texas, Daniel Butler of Waldron, Arkansas; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years G. W. Blalock, one grandson, Jance Thompson and one granddaughter, Lana Vell Thompson.
Addie?s funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2010 at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Warren Gassaway, officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery in Waldron. Arrangement are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be John Evans, Nathan Franklin, David Hawkins, Chris Thompson, Claude Thompson, and Josie Thompson.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren.
Visitation will be 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2010 at the funeral home.
